FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: First In Restoration Awarded Prestigious Scholarship by Restoration Industry Association

David King, owner of First In Restoration, has been selected as the recipient of the Pete Consigli Convention Scholarship from the Restoration Industry Association (RIA). This highly respected scholarship will cover the expense for David to attend the 2025 Restoration Convention and Industry Expo, which takes place later this month in West Palm Beach, Florida at the Palm Beach County Convention Center.

The RIA's annual convention brings together top professionals from across the country to share knowledge, foster connections and continue education within the restoration community. As part of the scholarship, David will be honored during a special private award ceremony on Tuesday, April 29th at the event.

“I’m incredibly thankful to the Restoration Industry Association for this opportunity. It is such a blessing and words can't properly express my thanks,” said David King. “Attending this conference at no cost through the Pete Consigli Scholarship is a tremendous honor. I am looking forward to connecting with some of the most respected leaders in the restoration field. I want to learn as much as I can from them which will help me to better serve our clients and community here in Georgia.”

USMC Veteran, David King owns and operates First In Restoration. The company specializes in fast, professional water damage restoration in Gwinnett, Hall, Walton, Barrow and surrounding counties.

First In Restoration operates 24/7 and is IICRC-certified for water damage, and is a member of the Restoration Industry Association (RIA).
